How to get to us
You can find 1854 Chassors, in the village of Luchac on the D22 just 4 km from Jarnac, where all the nearest major shops, cafes and restaurants are located.
Turn right from the main road going in the Jarnac direction into the lane. We are situated in a quiet lane off the D 22 called rue de la chapelle. Upon arriving, you will see large double white gates and high stone walls with our signs.
Luchac is one of 4 villages, which make up the commune of Chassors. Chassors is situated near Cognac, in the heart of the Cognac region, in South West France.
We highly recommend car hire during your stay, as this will enable you to see all the beautiful sights and activities of this region. We have secure parking within the gates.
If travelling by air, simply choose car hire from one of the following airports. We are conveniently located equal distance between La Rochelle, Bordeaux and Limoges airports which are all international hubs - all 90 mins drive away.
If driving, it will take approximately between 4 and a half hours from St Malo, 5 hours from Caen, 6 hours from Cherbourg and 7 hours from Calais.
Alternatively, arriving by train is now highly accessible. Angouleme (30 mins drive from 1854 Chassors) is on the new TGV route from Paris Montparnasse - Bordeaux which takes less than 1hour 45 minutes. Directly opposite the train station is Europcar or Hertz so perfect for easy car hire
There are also direct trains from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport which saves changing in central Paris if you are arriving from further afield.
